An open heart has no limits

El Corazon is an innovative retreat centre that is dedicated to serving individuals who are seeking adventure, inspiration, deep personal transformation and growth. "El Corazon" means "the heart" in Spanish and the focus of our work is on creating a space where our guests may connect deeply to their hearts and find peace and harmony in the present.

We offer Shamanic Ayahuasca Retreats that are combined with mindfulness practices which include yoga, meditation, visual art and sound healing. Combined together, Mindfulness techniques and Ayahuasca Ceremonies provide powerful transformational tools in training the mind to be calm and present. This enables you to connect to your heart and your true potential in a deep and lasting way.

The focus at El Corazon is to fully support you so that you embrace full transformational benefits of the Ayahuasca Ceremonies. You will have many opportunities to experience different ways of opening your heart to emotional healing and creative inspiration. There will also be opportunities to explore the jungle, go boating down the Ucayali River and participate in the preparation of Ayahuasca. We invite you into the Amazon to embrace the full scope of being alive.

We are located in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon, along the banks of the Ucayali River, in a small village called Genaro-Herrera. Retreats are offered in small groups of 6 to 8 people. This allows for deeper interpersonal connections and ensures that each guest receives all the support needed throughout their transformational process.

The ceremonies are led by Master Shaman Alberto Torres Davila. Maestro Alberto has extensive experience leading ceremonies and is a well-respected shaman in his community and with westerners.

Maria Andreeva, the tour organizer, is an apprentice of Maestro Alberto. She met him in 2008 at Blue Morpho, a renowned Ayahuasca center. Maria is a certified yoga instructor, has a degree in Psychology and has been exploring alternative therapies since 1997.
